1.2 We reserve the right to amend this Policy periodically. We recommend you check for updates regularly. If you disagree with the revised Policy, you should terminate your use of xMeet services.
1.3 This service is prohibited for minors under 14 years old. For residents of the European Economic Area, the minimum age requirement is 16 years.
1.4 According to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA), we only provide services to child users after obtaining explicit consent from parents or guardians and full confirmation of all Policy terms. Without legal guardian permission, we will not actively collect, use or disclose children's personal information. Guardians have the right to access, delete children's information or request cessation of related data processing.
1.5 By using this service, you confirm that you: have reached the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, or are a minor under guardianship with full rights and capacity to accept this Policy and use the service legally.
1.6 This Policy constitutes an electronic contract under applicable laws and is legally binding without any physical or digital signature.
1.7 Using xMeet services means you have fully understood and agreed to: accept all Policy terms, and authorize us to process your current and future personal information according to this Policy and applicable laws. Please read all content carefully.
2. Collection and Use of User Information2.1 We strictly follow the principles of legality, legitimacy, necessity and transparency, collecting your personal information (which may include specific categories of data) only for purposes stated in this Policy. If we need to use your personal information for purposes beyond this Policy or collect additional information, we will inform you through appropriate means and obtain your explicit consent in advance as required by law. We promise not to request personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary for the service.
2.2 According to U.S. regulations, sensitive personal information covers ten specific data categories, including but not limited to:
1) Providing or customizing products/services for specific groups (including U.S. military personnel and federal employees with national security responsibilities).
2) Collecting or maintaining such data for at least one million individuals.
3) Having a clear business objective to maintain or collect specific data for over one million people to support business operations. The data must be a critical part of core U.S. business operations involving R&D, production, sales and services.
2.2.1 In the EU, the following personal data is considered "personal data" and subject to specific processing conditions:
1) Data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs;
2) Trade union membership;
3) Genetic data, biometric data used solely for human identification;
4) Health-related data;
5) Data concerning a person's sex life or sexual orientation.
2.3 In the digital age, to ensure smooth user experience, we synchronize personal information across different mobile devices, allowing users to switch devices conveniently. Using xMeet requires providing personal information. We value privacy and protect information security through multiple layers. You need to agree to our collection of relevant information for service optimization and meeting needs, and we will handle it properly according to laws and regulations.
1) Information required to provide, maintain and improve xMeet and/or our services;
2) Information you intentionally provide; information collected with your consent;
3) Information collected from other sources according to this Policy (e.g., third-party service providers or social media platforms).
2.4 By registering an xMeet account, or accessing or using xMeet (with or without a user account), you agree to provide necessary information, including your personal information as described herein.

The following describes the extent to which your personal information may be required and collected.
2.4.1 Registration
You can choose to log in using your existing Google or Apple account. After successful login, the system will automatically create a dedicated xMeet account. Alternatively, you can create a new account via email by following our registration steps.
Please note that if you use xMeet as an unregistered user, you may not be able to access certain features. However, you can still browse content and use AI chat functions with some limitations.
2.4.2 Creating a Profile
To ensure a pleasant experience when using xMeet, we offer the option to create a profile. You can choose whether to provide a username, which is optional. Even without creating a profile containing optional information like interests or professional background, you can still use xMeet's basic functions smoothly.
2.4.3 AI Chat
When using the "AI Chat" feature, you can initiate chats in three (2) ways:
(1) Through our AI algorithm creating AI characters;
(2) Finding existing AI characters on our servers.
In some cases, if you don't allow access to your personal album, device storage, keyboard or microphone, it may limit our ability to provide services and affect functionality.
Additionally, we can access your device's precise geolocation to provide a more tailored AI chat experience based on your environment, offering more convenient and comfortable services.
2.4.4 Customer Service
When contacting our professional customer service, to ensure account security and resolve issues smoothly, you need to provide accurate account information for identity verification, protecting your rights and preventing unauthorized access. Please also submit detailed evidence like images or text descriptions, and leave accurate contact information for timely communication. Incomplete information may affect issue resolution efficiency and service quality.
2.4.5 User Consent
You will be asked to consent to the following:
Photos/Storage: Collect photos you wish to upload and display to other users, or train our AI algorithm (photos will be uploaded to our backend server)
Microphone: Input text via voice input function
Internet Access: View WLAN status and network connections to optimize internet access via cellular network status
Camera: Take photos and/or videos for your questions
Identity: Link to third-party accounts (e.g., Google or Apple) and enable login via third-party accounts
Precise Geolocation: Train our AI algorithm
Contacts: Provide a simple way to check if your contacts use xMeet and establish connections within xMeet
xMeet also requests permission to use flashlight and alarm wake locks, which do not collect user personal information.
2.5 Automatically Collected User Information
To ensure your account security and peace of mind when using xMeet services, we collect and reasonably use relevant information. Collection and use strictly comply with laws to protect your rights and provide quality service.
2.5.1 Device Information
When using xMeet, we collect your device information, including device ID, IMEI, OAID, MAC address, browser type, carrier information, location information (IP address), device model, OS version, and iOS/Android specific identifiers (e.g., IDFA, IDFV, Android ID). This information identifies your device from different angles. We may combine it with other personal information to better understand your needs and provide superior, stable services.
2.5.2 Log Information
xMeet automatically collects and stores user network logs, including browser type, browsing history, network diagnostics, etc., to evaluate xMeet usage, optimize it and improve our services.
2.6 User Information Obtained from Third Parties
2.6.1 After careful consideration and with your consent, we may collect your personal information from third parties. We will handle it according to contracts and relevant laws. Please read third-party service agreements and privacy policies to understand their information handling methods.
If you refuse third-party operations, you may not be able to use xMeet services normally. We won't request excessive information disclosure, committed to ensuring service and privacy security.
2.6.2 When logging into xMeet via social media plugins, you will be redirected to third-party platforms for registration/login. After linking with third-party accounts, their profiles will automatically bind with your xMeet account. Currently supporting Google and Apple logins. We only collect usernames and avatars. Although third parties may collect device information, we don't receive or transfer such data.
2.6.3 We are not responsible for third-party websites, apps, services, content, privacy policies or practices. If personal information leaks or is lost due to using third-party products, we are not liable.
2.6.4 When you pay for our premium services via third parties, we collect your username, avatar and payment records from them.
2.7 Exceptions to User Consent
According to relevant laws, we may collect and use your personal information without consent in the following situations:
i) Related to fulfilling legal obligations;
ii) Directly related to national security, public security, public health or significant public interests;
iii) Directly related to investigations, prosecutions, trials or sentence executions, or required by authorities, or other situations stipulated by law, including but not limited to responding to court orders or subpoenas;
v) To protect your life, property or other major legal interests when obtaining consent is difficult, or we reasonably believe someone is or may be harming or interfering with our, other users' or any potentially affected rights or property;
viii) Information you publicly disclose;
ix) Necessary for signing and performing contracts between you and us at your request;
x) Information collected from legally public channels like legitimate news reports or government releases;
xi) Necessary for maintaining xMeet operations, e.g., troubleshooting or resolving service-related issues; or other situations permitted by law.
3. Cookies, SDKs and Similar Technologies3.1 Cookies are special data files containing unique identifiers. When visiting specific websites, the web server sends them to your browser, which stores them on your device's hard drive as programmed, laying the foundation for optimizing user experience and providing services.
3.2 We take user privacy seriously, using only necessary Cookies. They are essential for smooth xMeet platform use and functionality, like remembering login status and accessing secure areas. Without Cookies, some key services would be hard to provide. Cookies don't contain directly identifiable personal information. We customize services based on login methods (email, Google or Apple accounts).
3.3 SDK
3.3.1 SDKs (Software Development Kits) are crucial for software development, containing diverse tools, libraries, detailed documentation and code samples to help developers efficiently customize apps. SDKs may also include APIs to facilitate software component collaboration and shorten development cycles.
To enhance functionality and meet user needs, we integrate third-party SDKs that bring practical features but may automatically collect information.
i) Device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, MAC address, advertising ID)
ii) Usage data (e.g., app interactions, session duration)
iii) Technical data (e.g., IP address, OS, device type, mobile network information)
iv) Location information (if permission granted)
v) Data collected by these SDKs improves user experience, provides analytics, delivers ads or enables in-app purchases. We ensure all integrated third-party SDKs comply with data protection laws and have robust privacy policies for data collection and use.

4. Advertising4.1 We may allow third-party ad networks to set cookies or tracking technologies on your device to collect information about your use of our services, for informing, optimizing and delivering marketing content tailored to your needs, as well as analyzing marketing effectiveness and user behavior.
4.2 Third-party operators may push targeted ads based on your GAID, IDFA, regional info, etc. You may receive ads via browsers, with Cookies potentially linked to your provided data. We disclose data to vendors in hashed form for security and privacy. You can opt out of customized ads for standardized ones. To opt out, submit a request via "Contact Us" with "Opt-Out Request" in the subject.
5. Reasons for Collecting, Processing and Using User Information5.1 Generally, we collect, process and use your information for the following purposes and legal bases.
We will use your information collected by xMeet to:
i) Provide our services;
ii) Improve xMeet or our services;
iii) Respond to your questions and requests;
iv) Offer secure, efficient and customized experiences, sharing with third parties (including Chat-GPT platform) that help provide effective functionality.
5.2 In operations, we comprehensively collect and analyze user and non-personal information. User information includes xMeet platform operation records and interaction data; non-personal information includes device data and network environment info. Analyzing this helps understand platform usage and user behavior patterns, forming aggregated reports to provide data and decision support for platform optimization, feature expansion and user experience enhancement.
5.3 Properly using user information ensures platform security and stability. This includes preventing fraud by monitoring and analyzing signs, detecting and fixing vulnerabilities, investigating illegal activities; protecting legal rights for legal claims; handling violations according to regulations; and cooperating with government law enforcement to fulfill social responsibilities.
5.4 Contacting you based on legitimate purposes: conveying notices for platform maintenance; providing services according to communication preferences; contacting when legally authorized to ensure lawful operations.
6. Sharing, Transfer, Sale and Disclosure of User Information6.1 Sharing User Information
6.1.1 You have the right to know if your information has been shared. Unless otherwise specified in this agreement or permitted by law, we won't share user personal information with third parties unless:
i) You request sharing or we've obtained your prior explicit consent;
ii) Related to fulfilling legal obligations;
iv) Directly related to national security, public security, public health or significant public interests;
v) Directly related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials or sentence executions, or required by authorities, including responding to court orders or subpoenas;
vi) Necessary to protect your life, property or other major legal interests when obtaining consent is difficult, or we reasonably believe someone is harming our, other users' or any potentially affected rights or property;

For business needs, we share information with partners, subsidiaries and affiliates, complying with policy. Some features require technical contractor support that may involve personal information processing. We sign strict confidentiality and data processing agreements with contractors, clarifying responsibilities, information content and processing details, requiring them to handle information properly.
Contractors are independent data processors. With your consent, they may have independent agreements and policies. We recommend reviewing them to decide whether to consent. 6.2 Transfer of User Information Control
We generally don't transfer information control, but in special cases like mergers or acquisitions, transfer may be necessary. We'll notify you of transfer details promptly.
6.3 Sale of User Information
We solemnly promise never to sell user information to any individual, company or organization. We understand its importance and adhere to protection principles without any possibility of sale. 6.4 Disclosure of User Information
Generally, we won't disclose any user personal information unless:
i) Necessary to fulfill our Terms of Use, this Policy or legal obligations;
ii) We've obtained your consent;
iv) To comply with legal requirements like investigating or preventing illegal activities, we'll act lawfully, with relevant information potentially serving as litigation evidence.
You can cancel paid subscriptions anytime but must agree that during cancellation, some personal information will transfer to third-party payment providers (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe) to ensure accurate cancellation. Transferred information includes account registration days, active time, purchased in-app virtual goods and their usage/value, to confirm account usage, spending behavior and preferences.
7. User Information Management7.1 Access, Correction and Portability
We recommend ensuring provided user information is accurate and complete. Accuracy is crucial for quality service, affecting your experience and rights. You can log in anytime to view personal information, including name, contact details, address and account-related data. For errors or updates, contact us for assistance. To retain information copies, also contact us. Where legally compliant, we may provide information to third parties but ensure security.
7.2 Consent Withdrawal and Modification
To fully enjoy xMeet, you may need to provide basic personal information. To withdraw certain consents, operate in the "Settings" menu or contact us. Note that after withdrawing or modifying consent scope, we'll stop collecting/using related information, possibly preventing service provision, but this doesn't affect previously consented information collection unless deleted from xMeet.
7.3 Account Deletion
7.3.1 To delete your xMeet account, go to "Settings," click "Account" - "Delete."
7.3.2 Unless required by law, we may not immediately delete some user information from backup systems but will do so during updates/upgrades.
7.3.3 Dear user, please note that account deletion is completely irreversible. After deletion, you likely cannot restore the account, losing access to xMeet's diverse content and practical features.
7.4 Responding to User Requests
7.4.1 When contacting us to exercise user rights under Sections 7.1-7.3, we must verify your identity first. Please provide and maintain a correct email, preferably matching registration, for efficient verification. After receiving requests, we'll respond promptly, usually within 30 days post-verification.
7.4.2 Within business scope, we generally don't charge for handling user inquiries/requests, offering convenient, efficient, quality service without cost concerns. However, we reserve the right to refuse requests that violate regulations, principles or may impact operations, ensuring healthy, orderly, lawful business that protects user interests and service stability.
Unrelated to you;
Unreasonably repetitive;
Requiring excessive technical investment (e.g., developing new systems or fundamentally changing practices);
Threatening others' legal rights/interests;
Impossible, impractical or unreasonable to implement;
Or violating our Terms of Use, this Policy or applicable laws.
8. Retention of User Information8.1 Retention periods for user personal information strictly don't exceed what's necessary for purposes stated herein or authorized, ensuring secure, reasonable use and avoiding excessive retention risks. If terms specify or laws require extensions, follow those provisions—special settings or legal frameworks may extend periods.
8.2 We retain usage data for internal analysis, usually briefly, to analyze product/service usage for optimization. Special cases extend retention, like enhancing xMeet security (finding/fixing vulnerabilities), improving features (optimizing interfaces, adding functions), or when laws require longer retention—we'll comply.
8.3 We may retain aggregated/anonymized data derived from user personal information for suitable purposes (commercial/non-commercial). Processing involves aggregating/anonymizing information to remove personal identifiers. Such data may come from you or your child if unlinked and unidentifiable, not legally considered personal information—balancing data utility with security.
9. Security of User Information9.1 We're committed to protecting user information through organizational, technical and physical measures. Organizationally, we build rigorous, efficient management systems clarifying responsibilities; technically, we employ advanced technologies like data encryption, access control and intrusion detection; physically, we establish highly secure data storage facilities with strict access controls and monitoring. Our multi-layered protection system uses industry-standard tech, supportive structures and robust management to guard against various risks.
9.2 User information security is our core asset and business foundation—we cherish it and understand our responsibility. However, the complex network environment means no absolutely secure transmission/storage methods exist. Despite commercial efforts investing manpower and resources, we can't guarantee absolute security but strive to reduce risks.
9.3 If data breaches occur, we'll activate emergency response, organizing expert teams for assessment. For violations causing significant harm or social impact, we'll notify relevant departments and users within legal timeframes, detailing circumstances and countermeasures to protect user rights.
10. International Transfer of User Information10.1 Per relevant laws, user personal information may transfer outside your jurisdiction for processing. We'll take effective measures ensuring information is fully protected by this Policy and laws.
We prioritize information security, strictly controlling data processing technically and administratively to ensure safe, compliant handling. Unless recipients have adequate security measures, we won't transfer information to other organizations/countries.
11. Protection of Children's Personal Information11.1 Our services aren't for minors under 14 (16 in EEA). Terms prohibit such use. If our system detects "personal information" from children under 14, we'll immediately close accounts and delete information thoroughly, retaining only what laws require to maintain services.
11.2 You must confirm you're a legal guardian or adult user meeting jurisdictional minimum age requirements to use xMeet. If disagreeing with this Policy, don't use our services. We only collect information with your consent and Policy compliance—otherwise, we won't collect your or your child's personal information, ensuring lawful service security.
12. Regional Privacy Disclosures12.1 European Economic Area and UK Residents
12.1.1 xMeet is designated as a "data controller" when processing "personal data," requiring strict compliance with applicable laws to determine how personal data is collected, used and disclosed.
Under EEA and UK law, data controllers must clarify legal bases for using, sharing or disclosing personal data. Our bases are:
Contractual Commitments: May require using, sharing or disclosing personal data to fulfill contracts with you.
Consent: Where legally required or in specific cases, we process data only after your explicit consent.
Legal Compliance: Fulfilling obligations to ensure lawful operations and protect user rights.
You can complain to regulators but we recommend contacting us first—we'll strive to resolve issues and protect your rights.
12.2 California Residents
12.2.1 Since January 1, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regulates how businesses handle California residents' personal information. The Consumer Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), effective March 29, 2023, amended the CCPA. At xMeet, we help subscribers succeed, including CCPA compliance.
12.2.2 xMeet is a "service provider" under subscribers, processing personal information only per written contracts. Contracts allow processing subscriber data (including personal information) for service provision without selling to third parties.
12.2.3 The CCPA imposes certain obligations on businesses that "sell" or "share" personal information. When we use "sell" or "share" in quotes, we refer specifically to these CCPA-defined terms.
12.2.4 We may use third-party analytics and ad services requiring "sharing" online identifiers (e.g., cookie data, IP addresses) with ad partners to promote services. To opt out, disable data sharing in website/app "Settings." We don't intentionally "sell" or "share" personal information of children under 17.

12.3 Nevada Residents
12.3.1 As a Nevada resident, you have the right to decide whether to sell personal information to non-affiliated third parties, protected by law.
To exercise this right, contact us per "Contact Us" instructions with "Nevada Do Not Sell Request" in the subject, providing your name and email. We haven't sold your personal information, strictly complying with Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A. Feel free to submit do-not-sell requests—we'll provide quality service and protection.
